About Us

WHO WE ARE

Malaysia is the natural space for translators and Language Service Providers (LSP) keen to work in a truly multilingual environment with a colourful social fabric, bringing down language barriers.

B Lingo Communications Sdn Bhd has been providing high-quality translation and interpretation services in Malaysia, Singapore and throughout South East Asia since 2001, initially as a sole proprietor enterprise and more recently as a private limited company.

Alberto Balanza

Director and Chief Interpreter

After completing his Diploma in Arabic Language in Jordan and obtaining his B.A. Degree in Mass Communications at the International Islamic University Malaysia in 1994, the company founder and director first joined the Spanish Trade Commission in Kuala Lumpur and later a Market Research outfit before deciding, in 2001, to change careers and establish a translation agency in a place like Malaysia, a mega-diverse country where more than 140 languages are spoken.

Manel Belani

Executive Manager

Born in a cosmopolitan environment and having lived in France, Poland, USSR, India and the Arab world, she completed her B.A. studies in Multimedia Graphic Design at Limkokwing University; after a brief stint in Europe she came back to Malaysia, joining B Lingo as an intern in 2011. Today she is our Executive Manager.

Pauline Yap

Operations Manager

Joining the travel line at a very early stage in her professional life, Pauline Yap worked in PRC, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand as senior manager for the Cruise Line industry since 1996 until she joined the firm in 2003. She is our Operations Manager.

Chayne

Translator

Our latest asset, Chayne, graduated from University of Nottingham with a BA (HONS) in International Relations with French language in July 2015. She then worked as a Research Executive in the Media Analysis industry for over a year. After a stint in mainstream media analysis and general translation, she decided to go after her passion in linguistic field, especially in interpreting. She is native Mandarin speaker, fluent in English, with passable Malay and Hokkien as well as French.
